Overview
The CATVolt StepDC 100 is an enclosed industrial DC-DC converter. It takes 19–36 V DC — a 24 V battery bank or vehicle system anywhere in its real-world range — and delivers a clean, regulated 12 V at up to 8.5 A (100 W).
The enclosed metal case is made for permanent installation: bolt it to a panel or chassis inside a cabinet, wire it once, and let it run. It is the dependable way to hang 12 V radios, cameras, controllers and lighting off a 24 V system.

Installation Notes
Mount the case to a metal panel or chassis for heat dissipation, fuse the input appropriately, and keep the total 12 V load within 8.5 A. The wide 19–36 V window absorbs the full charge-discharge swing of a 24 V battery system.
