CATPulse Bath 45

Overview

The CATPulse Bath 45 is a benchtop ultrasonic cleaning machine with a 4.5-litre stainless steel tank and 180 W of ultrasonic power. It cleans by cavitation: microscopic bubbles form and collapse against every submerged surface, lifting oil, flux and grime out of blind holes, threads and internal passages without abrasion.

The built-in heater is adjustable from 1–80 °C, which dramatically accelerates cleaning of oils and greases. The 4.5 L capacity comfortably takes carburettors, injectors, PCBs, machined components and small tooling, and it runs off a standard 220 V socket.

Operating Notes

Fill with water and a suitable ultrasonic cleaning solution for the contamination at hand — never flammable solvents. Suspend parts in a basket rather than resting them on the tank floor, and size loads so parts are fully submerged.
